Beeswax

Why tallow and beeswax work together
Tallow is soft — it melts close to body temperature. That's great for conditioning lips but not great for a balm that needs to hold its shape in your pocket. Beeswax is firm and melts at a higher temperature, so a little gives the balm structure.
Beeswax also forms a light, breathable layer on lips that helps reduce moisture loss. Coconut oil rounds it out with an easy glide.
Our balance
We use enough beeswax to keep the balm firm in Texas heat but not so much that it feels waxy. Tallow stays the star.
Grass-fed and finished tallow, organic unrefined coconut oil, natural beeswax. That's the recipe.
