Labels can be confusing. "Unscented" sometimes means a masking fragrance was added to neutralize odor. Fragrance-free means nothing was added for scent at all. Our unscented lotion is the second kind.
We do make scented lotions, and they're sold separately with the scent clearly named. If you want no added fragrance, choose the unscented jar.
Why people choose fragrance-free
Some people simply prefer no scent. Some use lotion on their face and don't want fragrance near their eyes. Others share a home with someone who's scent-sensitive. Whatever the reason, two plain ingredients are easy to live with.
You'll notice a faint natural aroma from tallow and jojoba in the jar. It isn't noticeable after it absorbs.

A rich, waterless fat that moisturizes and helps reduce moisture loss.

Organic cold-pressed jojoba
Technically a liquid wax ester, not a seed oil in the usual sense. Lightens the whip and helps it glide.
No water, no emulsifiers, no preservatives, no seed oils. Our unscented lotion has no added fragrance or essential oils; scented versions are sold separately and clearly labeled. Read about every ingredient.

How to use it
- Start with a pea-sized amount — less than you'd use of a water-based lotion.
- Warm it between your palms for a few seconds until it softens.
- Press and smooth it into skin, ideally while skin is still slightly damp after a shower.
- Give it a minute or two to absorb before dressing.
- Add more only to areas that still feel dry.
