Why a short ingredient list?
A long ingredient list isn't automatically a bad thing — many well-made products need emulsifiers, preservatives, and stabilizers to work. But a short list has real advantages: it's easy to understand, easy to patch test, and easy to trust.

How we get it down to two
By leaving out water. Once water's gone, you don't need emulsifiers to mix it with oil or preservatives to protect it. What's left is fat — in our case grass-fed and finished tallow — plus organic jojoba for texture.
Our unscented jar has no added fragrance, so the two ingredients really are the whole story.

A rich, waterless fat that moisturizes and helps reduce moisture loss.

Organic cold-pressed jojoba
Technically a liquid wax ester, not a seed oil in the usual sense. Lightens the whip and helps it glide.
No water, no emulsifiers, no preservatives, no seed oils. Our unscented lotion has no added fragrance or essential oils; scented versions are sold separately and clearly labeled. Read about every ingredient.

How to use it
- Start with a pea-sized amount — less than you'd use of a water-based lotion.
- Warm it between your palms for a few seconds until it softens.
- Press and smooth it into skin, ideally while skin is still slightly damp after a shower.
- Give it a minute or two to absorb before dressing.
- Add more only to areas that still feel dry.
