Where seed oils show up in lip balm
Check the label on a few natural lip balms and you'll often find sunflower seed oil, safflower oil, or similar liquid oils alongside the wax. They soften the balm and are inexpensive.
If you prefer to skip them, look for a balm built on fats that are naturally soft at body temperature — like tallow or coconut oil.
How ours stays soft without seed oils
Tallow and coconut oil are both soft at skin temperature, so the balm glides on without needing a liquid seed oil. Beeswax gives it structure.
Organic unrefined coconut oil is pressed from coconut meat and isn't typically grouped with industrial seed oils.
