Petroleum-Free Natural Lip Balm
Looking for a lip balm without petrolatum or mineral oil? Ours uses grass-fed tallow, coconut oil, and beeswax instead.

No petrolatum
No mineral oil, either.
Tallow base
A traditional fat.
Beeswax
For structure and protection.
Three ingredients
All food-grade.
Petrolatum vs. a tallow-based balm
Petrolatum (petroleum jelly) is a widely used, effective occlusive. It forms a seal that slows water loss, and cosmetic-grade petrolatum is considered safe. Plenty of people use it happily.
Others simply prefer a balm made from natural fats and waxes. A tallow-based balm protects in a similar way — beeswax and tallow form a breathable layer — while also adding a rich, conditioning fat.
What's in ours
100% grass-fed and finished tallow, organic unrefined coconut oil, and natural beeswax. Unflavored and unscented.
If you're coming from a petroleum balm, ours will feel a little different — softer and more cushiony, less slick.
