What fragrance-free actually means here
On many labels, "fragrance" or "parfum" can stand in for a blend of many compounds. "Unscented" products sometimes add masking fragrance. Fragrance-free, the way we use it, means nothing is added to make the product smell a certain way.
Real ingredients still have a faint aroma. Our jar may smell softly of coconut and clean tallow when you open it. Once applied, it isn't noticeable.
Why we left fragrance out
Some people just don't want their deodorant competing with what they wear. Others prefer to avoid fragrance and essential oils altogether. Either way, it's an easy thing to leave out, and it keeps the formula at four ingredients.
Odor control comes from magnesium hydroxide, not from covering odor with scent.

The base. A stable, skin-friendly fat that carries the balm and leaves underarms conditioned.

Organic cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil
Softens the balm so it spreads at body temperature.

A plant starch that absorbs surface moisture so the balm doesn't feel wet.

Magnesium hydroxide
A gentle mineral that helps control odor without baking soda.

How to apply
- Start with clean, dry underarms — right after a shower is ideal.
- Scoop a pea-sized amount with a clean fingertip.
- Hold it against your skin for a few seconds so body heat softens the balm.
- Massage it in until it disappears. Repeat on the other side.
- Reapply later in the day if you need to. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.
