Is there a difference between men's and women's deodorant?
Mostly marketing. Men's deodorants usually differ by scent and packaging, not by how they work. Underarm odor comes from bacteria breaking down sweat, and that's the same process for everyone.
Our tallow deodorant is one formula for everybody. Men who choose it tend to want something plain: no "sport" fragrance, no aluminum, and a short ingredient list they can trust after a long day outside.
Why it works for an everyday routine
Apply after a shower, then forget about it. Arrowroot absorbs surface moisture so it doesn't feel wet, and magnesium hydroxide helps keep odor in check. Because there's no fragrance, it doesn't compete with aftershave or cologne.
One honest note: it's a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. You'll still sweat — that's normal. If you work hard outside, keep the jar handy for a midday reapplication.
Ingredients
The full deodorant formula — four ingredients
- 1
100% grass-fed & finished beef tallow
The base. A stable, skin-friendly fat that carries the balm and leaves underarms conditioned.
- 2
Organic cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil
Softens the balm so it spreads at body temperature.
- 3
Organic arrowroot powder
A plant starch that absorbs surface moisture so the balm doesn't feel wet.
- 4
Magnesium hydroxide
A gentle mineral that helps control odor without baking soda.
No aluminum, no baking soda, no beeswax, no seed oils, no synthetic fragrance, no essential oils. It is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant — it helps control odor and does not stop sweat. Read about every ingredient.
