Why some people find natural deodorant uncomfortable
Underarm skin is thin and gets friction, shaving, and sweat all day. When a natural deodorant doesn't agree with someone, the usual suspects are baking soda (which is strongly alkaline), fragrance, and essential oils.
Everyone's skin is different, and we can't promise any product suits every person. What we can do is leave out the most commonly reported culprits and keep the list short so you know exactly what you're trying.
What's in ours — and what isn't
Four ingredients: grass-fed and finished tallow, unrefined coconut oil, arrowroot powder, and magnesium hydroxide. No baking soda, no fragrance, no essential oils, no aluminum.
Note that coconut oil is in the formula. If you know you react to coconut, this isn't the right product for you. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, talk to your doctor before trying a new deodorant.
Ingredients
The full deodorant formula — four ingredients
- 1
100% grass-fed & finished beef tallow
The base. A stable, skin-friendly fat that carries the balm and leaves underarms conditioned.
- 2
Organic cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil
Softens the balm so it spreads at body temperature.
- 3
Organic arrowroot powder
A plant starch that absorbs surface moisture so the balm doesn't feel wet.
- 4
Magnesium hydroxide
A gentle mineral that helps control odor without baking soda.
No aluminum, no baking soda, no beeswax, no seed oils, no synthetic fragrance, no essential oils. It is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant — it helps control odor and does not stop sweat. Read about every ingredient.
