Why whip tallow at all?
Plain rendered tallow is firm at room temperature, a bit like cold butter. It works, but it takes effort to spread. Whipping it — usually with a liquid like jojoba — incorporates air and loosens the texture so it glides on and melts into skin quickly.
Nothing about whipping adds water, so the lotion stays concentrated. That's the main thing to know: use less than you'd use of a typical lotion.
What ours feels like
Our whipped tallow lotion is soft and spoonable in the jar. On skin it feels rich for a moment, then settles to a satin finish within a minute or two when you use the right amount.
In Texas summer heat, any whipped tallow can soften or deflate. That doesn't change how it works — stir it or keep it somewhere cooler.

A rich, waterless fat that moisturizes and helps reduce moisture loss.

Organic cold-pressed jojoba
Technically a liquid wax ester, not a seed oil in the usual sense. Lightens the whip and helps it glide.
