Grass-Fed & Finished Tallow Deodorant
Our deodorant starts with 100% grass-fed and finished beef tallow, slow-rendered in small batches. Then we add just three more ingredients.

Grass-fed and finished
Not just grass-fed early on — grass to the end.
Small-batch rendered
Rendered slowly, without bleaching or deodorizing solvents.
Four ingredients
Short enough to read in one breath.
Hand-poured in Texas
Made in Taylor, Texas.
What "grass-fed and finished" means
"Grass-fed" on its own can mean cattle ate grass for part of their lives and grain at the end. "Grass-fed and finished" means grass and forage the whole way through. It's a sourcing standard, and we think it's worth stating plainly on the label.
Diet affects the composition of animal fat. Grass-finished fat tends to differ in fatty-acid balance and carries naturally occurring fat-soluble nutrients. We don't claim those differences do anything medical in a deodorant — we choose grass-finished tallow because it's the quality of ingredient we want to work with.
Why sourcing shows up in the jar
Tallow is most of our deodorant, so its quality is most of the product. We render in small batches so the fat stays clean and mild-smelling, with no chemical deodorizing step.
From there we keep it simple: organic unrefined coconut oil to soften, arrowroot to absorb surface moisture, and magnesium hydroxide to help control odor. No beeswax, no baking soda, no fragrance.
Ingredients
The full deodorant formula — four ingredients
- 1
100% grass-fed & finished beef tallow
The base. A stable, skin-friendly fat that carries the balm and leaves underarms conditioned.
- 2
Organic cold-pressed unrefined coconut oil
Softens the balm so it spreads at body temperature.
- 3
Organic arrowroot powder
A plant starch that absorbs surface moisture so the balm doesn't feel wet.
- 4
Magnesium hydroxide
A gentle mineral that helps control odor without baking soda.
No aluminum, no baking soda, no beeswax, no seed oils, no synthetic fragrance, no essential oils. It is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant — it helps control odor and does not stop sweat. Read about every ingredient.

How to apply
- Start with clean, dry underarms — right after a shower is ideal.
- Scoop a pea-sized amount with a clean fingertip.
- Hold it against your skin for a few seconds so body heat softens the balm.
- Massage it in until it disappears. Repeat on the other side.
- Reapply later in the day if you need to. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.
